The first trailer for Deadpool 3 – officially known as “Deadpool & Wolverine” – was released days ago and it seems like the movie is already causing a stir.
According to Variety, the first trailer for the film (which premiered on Sunday during the Super Bowl) broke the record for the most viewed movie trailer in 24 hours, with a staggering 365 million views in total, as revealed by Disney.
The previous record holder was a Marvel juggernaut, namely “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” which had 355.5 million online views in the first 24 hours in 2021.
“Deadpool and Wolverine” hits theaters on July 26 and marks the introduction of the popular superhero to the Marvel cinematic universe. As expected, Ryan Reynolds is back in the role of Deadpool and this time, he is joined by Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
In the trailer, and probably intentionally, we only see Wolverine in the final moments and only from behind.
