The removal of several “Tales of” games from digital stores by Bandai Namco may make things complicated for those who want to play some of these titles, even for those willing to search for the original platform to play them on.
List of Removed Games
According to a post on Reddit, thanks to NoisyPixel, a list of removed Tales of games from the PlayStation Store in Europe and the United States was shared. Games released for the PS3 and PS Vita are now out of reach for players who want to explore the history of this series.
Games Removed
In the European PS Store, Bandai Namco removed Tales of Hearts R, Tales of Graces F, and Tales of Zestiria, joining Tales of Xillia and Tales of Symphonia, which were previously removed. In the United States, the PS Store lost Tales of Hearts R, Tales of Xillia, and Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, but some of these games can still be purchased in bundles that include two titles.
Future Collections?
Considering the series’ growing popularity in recent years, especially with Tales of Arise, one would expect easier access to classics for new fans to discover more about the series. Could Bandai Namco be preparing new collections for fans?
