The Sony Pictures has announced significant changes regarding Venom 3, the upcoming and final film in which Tom Hardy will portray Eddie Brock, who transforms into Venom, a Marvel Comics villain turned anti-hero with the help of an extraterrestrial entity in recent years.
New Release Date and Title
Variety reports that Sony Pictures has decided to move up the film’s release date in theaters. Instead of premiering in the first week of November 2024, Venom 3 will now premiere in the last week of October to coincide with Halloween, fitting better with the theme.
The official name of the film has also been revealed as Venom: The Last Dance. However, there are no details yet on what to expect from this movie. Given the track record of the previous films and other productions like Madame Web, it may be best not to expect more than mere curiosity.
Cast and Crew
Venom: The Last Dance will star Tom Hardy, Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Clark Backo in the leading roles. The film will be directed by Kelly Marcel, who is responsible for the screenplay written in collaboration with Tom Hardy.
