Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Remake in Production
David Hayter Returns as Solid Snake
Konami is currently in production of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, with the main voices from the original game returning to record new versions of existing lines as well as new dialogues. Among the returning actors is David Hayter, the voice of Solid Snake.
Recently, it has been suggested that the actors have recorded new scenes, although no official confirmation has been shared. Hayter has now spoken about his involvement in the project, hinting at new elements that Konami has yet to reveal.
New Scenes and Voice Work Teased
“From the beginning, Konami and I started talking, I joined the project to help with promotion and work with them. They told me what they were planning and I played some of the game a few months ago,” Hayter said in a recent interview. “There are some things I’m working on in terms of voice that I can’t talk about yet, but I’m working to support the game, and I’m very involved, which is great.”
Officially, we know that some actors have been called back to re-record some existing lines, but there has been speculation about the possibility of new scenes appearing in the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, which still does not have a release date.
