Ubisoft’s XDefiant: A Fresh Action-Packed Game
XDefiant is Ubisoft’s latest free game, offering a first-person action shooter experience that has been likened to the popular Call of Duty series, especially the Modern Warfare sub-series.
XDefiant’s Explosive Launch
Insider-Gaming reported that over 1 million players jumped into XDefiant within the first 3 hours of its release on May 21st, on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. Despite facing some server issues, Ubisoft witnessed over 1 million players simultaneously engaging in XDefiant on launch day.
Within just 48 hours, XDefiant became Ubisoft’s fastest game to reach 1 million unique players, with a total of over 3 million unique players. The game also saw over 300,000 players online simultaneously on different platforms.
These initial numbers, as highlighted by Insider-Gaming, have outpaced the debut of Apex Legends, but it’s still early days for XDefiant.
