Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut: A Game-Changing Experience
Among the first games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 is Yakuza 0 from Sega, a game originally released in 2015 as part of the producer’s efforts to reach a wider audience, who will now have access to this “Director’s Cut”.
A Glimpse into the Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Work
To give us a better idea of Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s work on this Nintendo Switch 2 version of Yakuza 0, the well-known Cycu1 placed the PS4 version running on a PS5 side by side with the Switch 2 version. This is one of the first comparisons we have of a Switch 2 game with an existing version.
This comparison was made using videos posted online by Sega, but it still gives us a glimpse of what to expect when playing Yakuza 0 on the Switch 2, and how it compares to the experience of playing on an existing console.
Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut includes new cutscenes, English voices, and a new Red Light Raid mode for 4 players online.
