YouTube Distributes Over $100 Billion in Four Years
YouTube has distributed over $100 billion to content creators, artists, and media companies in the past four years. The majority of this amount comes from the YouTube Partner Program, which shares 45% of advertising revenues with eligible channels, along with other sources like programming deals, channel subscriptions, and Super Chats.
YouTube Introduces AI-Based Tools for Creators
With around 2.7 billion users globally, YouTube has solidified its position in the social media market, surpassing Disney in audiences and projected to surpass it in social media revenues. Last year, advertising and subscription revenues exceeded $50 billion.
YouTube has also unveiled new AI-based tools to assist content creators, including automatic editing, voice-to-music conversion, and intelligent integration of product links in videos. The platform emphasizes that AI will support creators and not replace them.
